Stories

I heard this story told to me a while ago, I don't remember who recounted it, I just remember the story....

There was a lady who cleaned the house of an Indian Yogi.  The Yogi collected many beautiful crystals and semi precious stones and rocks. In fact he had so many there were shelves of them throughout the house.  One day while doing her cleaning duties she backed into a shelf knocking it over by accident.  All the crystals fell onto the floor and were broken and shattered into many pieces.
The Yogi came home to find the woman on the floor sobbing, shattered crystals all around her.  When she saw him she cried, " Please forgive me, I am so sorry, it was an accident, I am so sorry"
The Yogi smiled at her and helped her up off the floor.  He looked into her face with love and smiled as he said, "Do not cry, these things were for my joy, not my misery"

Whatever it is.... just let it go :)
Have a beautiful day

... we can fix the garage and we can fix the car, so lets remember how much we love our kids. What can we do for each other right now.

A lost phone or a camera can be an expensive loss. Love can replace the material loss which is just a temporary shadow that had light splashed on it. Love can replace the shadow of a material loss with a lasting warmth that defies the need for a material shadow. If you are looking down and away from the sun to search for a shadow your not looking into the sun where the warmth of a friend and their love is waiting, chin up with some kind words can warm a heart that has been led to the darkness of shadows that promise the coldness of material possessions.

Thats not to say that gifts and material possessions can't warm the heart, but its reality is the bearer instrument was the remebrance of the love from the bearer of good tidings that lasts much longer and wills the joy from the gift into the soul as a remebrance of the Love shared from between two hearts.
