It is all about Love...
Mother Teresa

The quotes creating the halo affect around Mother Teresas head are in regards to her work with the poor and ill. It reads;
"Our life of poverty is as necessary as the work itself. Only in heaven will we see how much we owe to the poor for helping us to love God better because of them. Each one of them is Jesus in disguise."
This is one in a series of pencil works on 'Peaceful Leaders of Change'.
Some other favourite quotes of hers are:
"People who love each other fully and truly are the happiest people in the world. They may have little, they may have nothing, but they are happy people. Everything depends on how we love one another." "Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing."
"One of the greatest diseases is to be nobody to anybody."
"Peace begins with a smile."

Thank you! I love this:) One of the greatest stories I heard was Mother Theresa being asked to join a march against war. She said no, but call me when you have a march for peace...
Very nice drawing. :D
I have always admired her strength and mission.
a lovely drawing coupled with some very interesting quotes from mother teresa.... stunning!!!
It's gorgeous Mango... just like you
Thank you for highlighting one of the worlds most amazing women. Mother Theresa did so much to restore dignity and love to the outcast. And her spirit still is strong. Her words are powerful and life changing. The drawing does her great homage.
Peace-
Oh I LoVe! Mother Teresa is one of my favorite people...she was a true living saint. I love how you put the quote as a halo. Beautiful job of capturing her essence. I also loved how her passing was overshadowed by the death of Princess Diane...probably just the way she wanted...she slipped out almost unnoticed. Oh yes, I also love YOU! **blows kisses** Deb
heart warming words, leaves me craving for a hug, let me start here *hug* and what a lovely drawing! you've got some great talents!
As always, thank you for your gifts to us.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and your work. Mother Theresa, was the most selfless person, a true inspiration.
