Of Clouds & Thunder & Kisses...

Photography by sweetmango

she told me i smelt like the clouds
her head was surrounded by a red halo
and she made me think of all
of my barefoot dreams
of waving tall green grass
and open fields of life
i watched the wind blow leaves
and scatter crystal notes upon the ground
india drifted to me on her breath
chanting lilting sweet scent sounds

he called and thunder rolled
and lightening split the sky
and he sang me a lullaby
while i rested in his ears
and i rained kisses upon his face
we dreamed of the blue room
with the waterfall curtain
and laughter fell around us
as five angels flew around our heads
and we drowned in waves of love

I remember one of my teachers in school telling me, "There are no wrong answers or thoughts to poetry". As I read that I thought of God smiling. .......That's words for ya! They always have a way of bringing out imagination! Nice

Have just been mesmerised by your japanese flute music, and your poem sailed away in the air with the music... Couldn't make a sensible comment if I tried now...

i want to roll through grass with you in nothing but moonlight to clothe us. I want to kiss you in lakes and trees and open fields. These passionate exchanges could entwine our love. I want you to want me even after this silver night is over.
